The Marymount School in Italy formed a human circle of more than 700 people which included students, faculty and staff who all joined hands in a display of school unity to celebrate International Peace Day on September 21st. This activity included a moment of silence where everyone said a prayer for World Peace.
Well done to Sally Cameron and everyone from the school for coming together in a strong show of Unity.
We look forward to the quilt visiting this school next year.
This is the drawing received from The MaryMount School in Rome,Italy. The students in this school under the guidance of Sally Cameron studied people of peace and symbols of peace. This student, Olivia Forcina felt that what we all have in common is that we are searching for Peace.
