From the School of Creativity, Hong Kong…

This first design is by Pallas Lo age 13  whose quote reads: We wish for peace because we and the nature are one family!!

These next two drawings are by Leung Tsz Ching, Nicole age 10 and Liang Cheuk Lam age 11.

We wish for peace because there is only one earth, our planet home.

We wish for peace because love and harmony is everyone’s dream.

Followed by We wish for peace because we are one family by Chan Hui Man age 9.

We wish for peace because life is precious! by Cheung Ming Yan, Sophia age 11.

And, We wish for peace because we want to build a better future! by Queenie Law age 12.

We wish for peace because we need it ! by Peng Yuen Lam age 9

We wish for peace because we can live in dignity and show our talents! by Leung Chi Man age 10

We wish for peace because life is valuable! by Louie Rachel age 10

We wish for peace because living in love and happiness is everyone’s dream by Keung Lo age 5

The final two designs have been created by Chang Nga Ting age 14 and Chan Wing Chi, Vinci age 6.

We wish for peace because our world needs it!

We wish for peace because we love our world.

Well done  and thank you to all the students from the School of Creativity in Hong Kong, China. Also special thanks to their teacher Stephanie Yip for coordination of the project in this school.

Flag of Hong Kong

The flag of Hong Kong features a white, stylised, five-petal Hong Kong orchid tree (Bauhinia blakeana) flower in the centre of a red field. The red symbolises China as well as being a traditional colour for happiness. The flag of Hong Kong was first officially hoisted on 1 July 1997, in the handover ceremony marking the transfer of sovereignty.

How colourful are these designs from students of the Chong Hok Tong Education Centre in Hong Kong, China!

The first design has been created by Chang Hoi Ching age 11 who says: We wish for peace because life is beautiful.

These next two designs have been created by Lee Wai Shan age 11 and Leung Hiu Yan age 10.

We wish for peace because we all want to live in love and harmony.

We wish for peace because it brings us peace and love.

The landscape design has been drawn by Tam Hoi Ching, Bernice, age 12. Bernice says: We wish for peace because we are brothers and sisters!

The first portrait design has been created by Kong Tsz Yiu, Jesse age 10 whose quote says: We wish for peace because no peace, no love and hope.

The second portrait design has been done by Lam Ming Wai age 8. We wish for peace because peace brings us together!

We wish for peace because peace brings us happiness by Li Ka Wing age 12.

We wish for peace because we can live in happiness! by Rita Lee age 10.

Designs by Tso Yin Yi amazingly just 5 years old and Sze Naomi Phoebe age 6.

We wish for peace because we can live happily with our friends.

We wish for peace because we want to live in a wonderland.

And finally drawings by Ng Cheuk Yan, Cyan age 6 and Tsang Yuet Yiu, Elysia age 11.

We wish for peace because peace makes us pleased!

We wish for peace because world peace is everyone’s wish.

A very well done to all these students for their dedication and hard work in producing such artistic designs. Much appreciation also to Mike Chan, their Mentor for coordination of the project in Hong Kong.

Here we have a wonderful selection of drawings from South Island School, Hong Kong. Thank you very much to everyone involved.
