Thanks wholeheartedly to Samantha Fern for coordinating and organizing the quilt’s visit to The Copenhagen International School, Denmark. We were thrilled that the Schools’ International Peace Quilt was able to add to the 50th celebrations. Finding its perch first in the Atrium and then moving onto the 50th Anniversary meal culminated by a viewing of the Princess was special for all concerned.

Special congratulations also to the five students Isabella, Haruka, Katja, Lili and Chika who all had their designs tie for first in the art competition to help choose the design to represent Denmark for 2012. What a great idea to incorporate all five in one piece of art work which can be seen here.
