PUERTO RICO, Saint John’s school

4 May

Well done to all the students and staff from Saint John’s School in Puerto Rico for this original design to represent their young people on the Quilt.

We all wish for PEACE because we want UNITY

Special thanks to Maru Fuste,  Art teacher in Saint John’s School, San Juan, for coordinating the International PeaceQuilt for Puerto Rico’s students.

The mission of Saint John’s School, is to ensure that all of our students develop a passion for learning, build strength of character, and contribute compassionately as independent thinking members of society, all within a learning environment committed to academic excellence.

The Puerto Rico flag is similar to the flag of Cuba, as both were designed at the same time.
