UZBEKISTAN, Tashkent International School

3 Feb

Well done to all the Grade 9’s from Tashkent International Uzbekistan.  They all worked very hard under the guidance of Ronald Kleijer, visual arts teacher, to design this collective piece. The students decided to join forces and create a group project. Great work by all.

The aim of the school is to create a stimulating learning environment that promotes energy, thinking, creativity and communication in their  students as they discover their own individual potential, the potential of others, and the world in which they live.

The flag of Uzbekistan features a new moon symbol and one white star for every month of the year. The blue is representative of water and sky; white represents peace; green represents the fertile land, and the two red stripes are symbolic of the people.dot
