MOROCCO, George Washington Academy.

1 Dec

Here we have 2 very colourful drawings from The George Washington Academy,Casablanca Morocco. Lisa Payne art teacher in this school, organised 5th graders to  develop imagery based on what peace means to them and a juried contest was held for their submission. It is down to one of these drawings to represent Morocco on The International Peace Quilt.

Aya says,  ” We all wish for Peace because people cant live with fighting  and war and we want to have a good area and Peace around us.”

Ryan says,  ” We all wish for Peace because Peace is good for everyone ; with Peace everyone is happy.”

Thanks so much to everyone involved from this school, and today we also have Swaziland and Mali confirm their participation from Africa 😉
